Morning Inductee Orientation: 10:30 to 12:00. A presentation about the OKMHF along with media interviews. The ROTC unit commanders or their representatives, are invited to attend this.
ROTC Seminar: 13:00 to 16:00. A special ROTC Seminar featuring two Medal of Honor recipients, an Air Force pilot and POW, and a Marine Corps infantry officer and member of the Kiowa tribe. More information may be seen at here.
University Group Photos: 16:30 to 17:30. The four university groups (OU, OSU, UCO and Cameron) will be guided to separate locations (could be outside) for group photos by school. At this time, each school may recognize their alumni and university officials who are present. Groups may invite certain OKMHF inductees to be present in the photos. We will then prepare news releases with the photos and send them to each university’s alumni magazine, and/or local newspaper.
Induction Ceremony: 18:30 to 22:00. During the induction, all ROTC unit commanders will be called up together, and one narrative for Oklahoma ROTC read. Each commander will be introduced and then presented with his/her unit’s presentation certificate as a photo is taken. If a university president is in attendance, he/she may take part in the presentation. The order of presentation will be OSU Army and Air Force; OU Army, Navy and Air Force: UCO Army; and Cameron Army. Photos will be taken by school, so that, for example, OU will include the 3 ROTC commanders and the president or other school official, if present.
